American Foreign Policy With Afghanstian
For years now, the United States has been and fighting in Afghanistan. The war in the middle east is a very controversial one; a lot of people are for the war while many are against it. Currently, the ongoing problem is when the troops currently stationed are coming home. There are about 90,000 troops still in Afghanistan, while 22,000 of them are expected to return home in fall of 2012, but the rest are expected to be out of there by 2014. This issue is so controversial because people truly believe that being allies and helping Afghanistan with their problems is important because in the long run, they would be able to help us out due to the large amount of natural resources that they have. Others believe that what is going on in Afghanistan is none of our business, and we should leaven them to their own problems and worry about our own problems. I on the other hand am neutral about this topic. Yes they have resources, but they should deal with their own problems and we should stay out of their business.
